Mindsherpa welcomes Mitacs and the University of Ottawa to its innovation ecosystem
The collaboration accelerates Mindsherpa's end-to-end workplace wellness infrastructure, purpose-built to move employers beyond outdated, generic Employee Assistance Programs.
Through a secured two-year Mitacs research partnership, Mindsherpa is collaborating with the University of Ottawa's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science to advance its core R&D innovation layer.
The initiative is led by Academic Supervisor Professor Diana Inkpen, a global leader in AI and Natural Language Processing, alongside Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Prasadith Kirinde Gamaarachchige, who is driving the core architectural research.
Together, the team is pioneering a resilient, privacy-preserving AI coaching architecture for workplace mental wellness.
